Thoughtfully crafted, companionable holidays for over-60s Dragonfly is a small, independent, owner-led travel company. For more than three decades, we’ve been creating holidays with warmth, care and a genuine love of sharing beautiful places with bright-spirited travellers.

We’re not a large tour operator. We’re a small team who know our guests
by name, understand what matters to them, and take pride in creating
holidays that feel thoughtful, friendly and well-paced.
Everything included, from your front door onwards
Your holiday begins the moment you step outside your home. Our
door-to-door taxi service, comfortable coach travel, daily excursions, light
lunches, hotel meals and Tour Manager support are all included — with
no hidden extras.
Warm, companionable groups
Our holidays attract people who enjoy gentle days out, good
conversation and shared experiences. Many guests choose to travel with
us again and again, forming friendships along the way.
Carefully chosen hotels and visits
We select 3 and 4 star hotels for comfort, character and location, and plan
each day with a balance of interest, relaxation and accessibility.
Where we travel from
Our departure area Our holidays depart from the West Midlands, and we welcome guests who live within approximately 45 miles of Hopwood (South West Birmingham). This keeps our door-to-door taxi service smooth, reliable and included in your holiday price. If you’re unsure whether your home is within our area, we’re always happy to check.

Comfort, pace and reassurance We understand that comfort, pace and reassurance matter. That’s why we:
• discuss room access needs when you book
• choose hotels with lifts wherever possible
• plan itineraries with rest time and gentle pacing
• include a Tour Manager throughout your holiday
• offer support in the event of illness or accident
